CZ40P magazines

Are there flat-based mags available for this pistol? I like the pistol, but I'm not keen on the extended plastic mag base thingees that ship with it...

Promag #ZMMAG12 can be had at Nathez for around 14 bucks but I am not a big fan of promag. Also CZ 75 compact 40 cal mags worklike a charm. Tell me how do you like the 40p and how many rounds do you have through it? I just got one a few weeks ag oand have put 350 -450 rounds through it without a jam or problem.

Don't have one yet - the magazine issue (along with other funding priorities) was kinda getting in the way of making the move.

Buck i have sen that gun on the CZ board a few times, nice finish. How many rounds you had through it and would rate it as durable as a hand down to the grandchildren status gun?

Well I've probably got only 400-500 through it. Actually shooting 40 S&W through a compact, alloy framed gun is not my most favorite thing to do in the world!--Don't ask me why I just bought a CZ RAMI in 40S&W!!

As for passing on down, it really isn't that kind of pistol. I'd look at something a little prettier and something that might increase in value. The 40P gets the job done, but it really is never going to be a collector's item

I should have scrolled down further before posting in the other thread about this same issue... Oh well ! How many rounds do the CZ 75 compact magazines hold, and what does the price look like compared to the pro mag solution...
