I'm getting interested in buying a cz75 compact pistol. But I would maybe later want a .22 conversion for it. The cz site says the .22 cadet conversion fits 'all 75 models', but I'd like to be reassured by hearing from someone who has a cz75 compact and has done the .22 conversion succesfully. Thke barrels ARE different lengths.

I have a P01 and the Kadet fits fine. The magazine hangs out the bottom though.

I got mine from Whittaker Guns, looks like they're selling them for $239 (Look under "New Handguns"). Because they're just the slide and barrel assy., the adapter doesn't have to be shipped to an FFL.

A fellow skiier and CZ owner... Nice! :D

To the OP, yes the Kadet conversion kit fits all CZ 75 models, including the compact models.

I hate to keep going on about this, but I gotta ask:

I'm used to semiautos that the clips latch in at the bottom. What keeps the .22 clip from falling out of a CZ75 Compact?

The mag catch is up near the trigger guard like on most semi-auto pistols. The Kadet Kit magazine is fleshed out to fit in the standard 9mm double stack magazine's slot in the CZ frame, so it's retained near the top of the magazine not the bottom.

I have had the Kadet for a number of years. Originally bought for the 75BD it fits the P-01 without any further modification. The magazine sticking out of the grip is fine for range work.

The Kadet kit will give you much more trigger time on your compact for very little money. Best trigger job around.
