I've got a CZ75 Tactical Sport on order. Can I use my CZ75 mags with it? The CZ brochure says something about the frame being a big larger to handle the heavy duty magazine (whatever that means).

It means that you're going to have to look for different mags.

(Visit the CZ Forum, and our Tactics and Competition area. Lots of guys shooting these guns visit there.)

Apparently a great gun. Comes with extra mags, and other extra parts.

I have an IPSC ST, the previous model of that pistol. Truly a wonderful gun. Accurate, reliable, and extremely mild recoil. You are going to love it!

It doesn't take the regular CZ75 mags.

You'll love this gun! I changed my recoil springs to 18lbs. and shooting hot DT 180 grainers felt like mild loads!

Recoil Spring Question

Does the Tactical Sport take the same Wolff Gunsprings recoil springs as the CZ 75B? I'm considering ordering this pistol and ordinarily replace the standard CZ springs with Wolff upgrades. Thanks!

Yes, it does. I've confirmed this also with Mike Eagleshield from CZ-USA. I believe the older IPSC models were undersprung and Mike has suggested putting at least a 16lb. spring as a minimum upgrade (The newer TS models may come with the right weight, I don't know). I used 18lbs. (for DT) and it had no issues even with mild 165gr Federal American Eagles. And with the 18lbs., shooting with hot DT ammo or just the regular loads reduces the felt recoil and minimizes the muzzle rise.

Jack Ash Custom also sells full-length steel guide rods for the TS but I'm leaving mine stock for now.
