CZ75B holster reccommendations please?

As a new owner, I'd like to hear a few holster recommendations from those who may use the 75B as an EDC.. I like belt holsters and though I've never used an IWB style, I'd be open to a try. I make my own leather holsters and am not afraid to spend $5 on materials (lots of time though) to see what may work. But I'd like to have an idea about a starting point..........Thanks. Don

Finding a holster that's right for YOU (as opposed to someone else) is always difficult. I'd simply get something cheap as a stop-gap, and then keep my eyes open. A custom holster is always a good idea. Here are two sources I've found to be good, having bought several from both companies:

Note: Eric Larsen's web site says he started building holsters four years ago -- he hasn't updated his site in a while. He was one of the early members of the original CZ Forum and was building CZ holsters back then. He's been doing it for more than four years, and does a gorgeous product. My most recent purchase from him was a pocket holster for a PF9.

Horseshoe Leather has some good design information if that is what you are looking for? One thing I've found interesting about the Horseshoe IWB model #62 is that while it looks like a wraparound holster like the Sparks Summer Special/Summer Special II, it is actually an IWB pancake, as is the Galco Royal Guard another outwardly similar holster.

If you ate looking for open top, leather holsters made for the Sig P226 will generally fit for a full sized CZ 75

I've had a Close-Cropped adjustable IWB for a couple years now to hold my PCR. It should translate easily enough to a OWB, with some thought.

I decided not to pay for the hand-boned fitting, so it blurs the outline of the gun, similar to Towboater's. The only holster I ever bought for this gun, and the adjustability makes it perfect.

I like the High Noon Slideguard. It is very comfortable and hides my 75B very well under a loose shirt. I have never been a fan of IWB designs(just my opion though), I find them uncomfortable. You can also think Kydex. My brother uses a Bladetech paddle on his P01 and loves it.

Mine fit in all the G17 holsters I had which is the gun I sold to get it. My favorite is the Don Hume 721 IWB.

I read many post here and look on Internet and almost everybody stated that G17 holster will fit CZ-75B. Well I bought one from Blackhawk it is Sepra Sportster and it came yesterday.
Not fit at all, slide release in a way, and nothing you can adjust.
Any suggestions?

I've followed (and owned) CZs for years, and never heard it claimed that the Glock 17 holster would work with CZs. I do know that a number of SIG holsters will work, and that most holsters for the Beretta 92/96 work well. In fact, when FOBUS first started offering holsters for CZs, they just repacked their Beretta 92 holster for that new group of customers.

There should be any number of holsters available for the CZ, now -- so I don't know why you'd have to go the "other gun" route. IF nothing else, take your gun with you to a gun show, and find one that fits, there.

If you have a plastic/kydex holster now, and it doesn't fit, you can borrow someone's heat gun (like those used to remove floor tile -- or pick one up cheaply at Harbor Freight) -- and heat the plastic enough to soften it a bit, and "refit" the new gun to the holster. Just do it carefully, or you'll find the holster beyond repair. That may be harder with the Serpa design, with it's intricate retention system. You might be better off trying to sell the Blackhawk and picking up a cheap FOBUS (for the CZ or Beretta) until you find something you really like.

Glock 23 (17) holster fits CZ P-01like a glove.

I carry my P-01 in a Galco Miami Classic II shoulder rig made for the 23/17/19 etc. when the weather permits.

My understanding is the Glock 26 holster fits the CZ 2075 RAMI very well. I'll be trying that in the new year.

For a great holster that I've beat the heck out of, didn't spend too much money on, and works with several guns I'd suggest Falco. They were about the only people I could find who made a CZ phantom holster at the time.

Glock 23 (17) holster fits CZ P-01like a glove.

That makes sense -- as the P-01 has a much chunkier frame (up front) than the 75B. The OP was about the 75B, which was why I responded as I did.

The RAMI is also built quite differently than the 75B or 75B-based Compact or PCR. The newer guns, like the P-06, P-07, and P-09, due to their much different trigger guard, are going to be holster challenges, too.

The newer designs are all quite different than the 75B -- which works well in Beretta holsters.

A paddle holster for the S&W 4043 made by Safariland, that looked a bit like the non-paddle in post #2, also worked well with a 75B I once owned. You sometimes just have to try them to find what works.

I have an older tan Don Hume 721 OT that is meant for the 92FS. Carried my 75bd for years with it. Let me know, I sold the 75 and can't use it.
