I've actually been waiting over a month from my local shop to get a simple plane jane CZ75B 9mm in the black polycoat. They're supposed to give me a call when one comes in, and I check by every week or so (Hey, it's fun to look around too! :neener: )

Thing is, it seems like all the other shops around me don't have them either, so, what gives, anyone know if they're back ordered? Production isn't keeping up with demand?

Also, none of the retailers online seem to have them either,

With CZ, there was never demand and limited supply. No problem. Now, there is demand with the same supply. In time one or the other will work it out.

Well, I hope the supply works itself out soon haha. I have three different CZ's as it is, with at LEAST two more I want to purchase in the near future...but the 75B is the first...ah well, just have to wait and see.

Maybe they have large orders from outside buyers. CZ s are getting more popular as we speak.

I've been looking for one for a while, too. They are scarce on the ground in Georgia. At the last two gun shows I attended, I saw a total of one CZ hangun - a CZ-85 (at a pretty elevated price point). Some CZ longarms were available, though.

If CZ can open the pipeline on the handguns, I think they'll clear a lot of money in a hurry.

I have been watching for months as well. Maybe we shouldn't have told everyone how good they are! Found a used 75 Compact, wanted it bad, but my son-in-law needed it more so I went with him and he bought it.

Maybe no connecttion, but I know a Czech girl on a non-gun forum, and she said there were serious demonstrations in Prague about a month ago. The people don't like the government. Don't know what will happen there.

Hope this doesn't affect CZ's production.

There are still CZ75B pistols in the cases at at least one LGS nearby. They say they actually have trouble selling them, which I had trouble believing.

I've been finding lots of used CZ's. I've found a 75B Omega, a 75BD Police, a 75 BD, and an 85 Pre-B transitional all within the last month. I hope it slows down soon, I'm running out of money :)

CZ-USA announced some time ago that they are backordered on almost all handguns, like Ruger and CzechpointUSA. Demand is far outstripping supply, and they'll get caught up as soon as possible.

Try to contact THR member manofsteele

He is a great guy that specializes in CZ's. Last new one I got from him was by far the lowest price going.

Well, at least it's not just me...and Kiln, lucky you, odd that everyones selling out of the things and your shop has them and cant move them though.

As far as my shop goes, they had one older looking straight out CZ75, one marked with a russian red star, and one that was rather fancy and quite nicely engraved, at either a three or four thousand dollar price...now, I think I could get them down a bit, but, my range was about $500 lol

Word at the LGS today (via their CZ rep) is that CZ is working extra shifts trying to keep up with demand, but it's going to be a couple months until the next shipment reaches our shores.

I started looking in March, failed to jump on one at 2 separate online stores, and finally found one in Mid-April on an auction site. In the meantime I am still on a waiting list at Damascus Gun Shop.

Yeah I have no idea why, my CZ75B is one of my favorite pistols.

When I bought mine a couple months back the employees were talking about how they have trouble selling them compared to striker fired polymer pistols.

When I worked at a gun shop, the only pistols we absolutely COULDN'T move were the Desert Eagles...we called them Desert Beagles, 'cause these dogs just won't hunt...
Is Ruger taking new orders now, or are they still behind? CZ has to produce and ship internationally, plus finishing up that big military contract.
