Hello all!

After years of collecting long arms, I finally got my first hand gun, a CZ82. Boy does it fit my hand well and points perfectly. Can't wait for the ammo to come next week so I can give it a run. I plan to restore it (duracoat), maybe some wood handles (though these fit great), and enjoy it!

The gun came with a VERY nice black leather holster, but it is left hand use. I'm right handed which means it's not much good for me. :banghead:

So.... two options:

1. Trade some lefty who got the right hand version of the same deal! :D
2. Sell on gunbroker and buy a new holster.

I'm not much interested in CCW holsters yet (don't have my ccw yet, but plan to get it this summer). I'd like a simple open carry, more to keep the gun safe than to carry regularly. Any recommendations on holsters?

So if anybody wants to trade, buy or recommend, I'm open to suggestions!

Most gun shops have used leather boxes sitting around somewhere. You might find one for $5 there. I picked one up for my CZ82 at a military surplus store for $4.

Heh. Yeah, it is military surplus. Left handed. Does put in sharp relief the ambidextrous nature of the CZ82! In Czech I guess they were allowed to be lefties!

I've found a few good holsters online made for this gun (or rather will fit this gun), so finding a new one isn't that impossible it seems. I'll hit the local gun shop (only one in a one hour radius! In Virginia of all places!!!).

If there aren't any takers for trade or purchase of my lefty leathers, I'll chuck them on gunbroker as I'd rather they were purchased by someone who needs them than to disappear into a closet. (It is a really nice holster).

Get one of the original CZ82 holsters that look like a fat slice of pizza. They can be used left, right, MOB, or on top of your head with a hatband.
