The trigger on my new-to-me CZ82 seems unusual; the double-action pull is fine, but in single-action, the hammer comes back a bit more as the trigger is pulled, and there is no discernible indication when the let-off point has been reached. It behaves exactly like a very short, double-action trigger.

Is this normal behavior for these creatures, or is this a sign of the dreaded 'worn sear' issue I've read about? The hammer does not push off from the cocked position and the pistol otherwise functions flawlessly.

That is totally normal trigger for the CZ-82. In Single Action mode, the hammer will go back slightly with the trigger pull until the sear disengages the hammer to let it fall forward. Perfectly normal. Excellent gun by the way. It is my carry gun most of the time.

Thanks. I am pretty fond of this little pistol, it's quite a bargain for the price.
