Good luck! But if you do, let me know. I haven't seen that around for quite some time.
AIM has some Bulgarian Heavy ball in stock. It shoots well in my M44, although kicks a bit harder than the Czech stuff.
I sure miss the 9 or 10 cents per round prices.....
I bought 200 rounds a couple weeks ago at $20/100. Gunshow ammo guy had some of it- probably left over from when it was imported en masse. See what you can find at shows, in shops, and on Gunbroker. Sometimes some pops up.
I bought some a while back, but it was more like $0.23 per round, shipped. I saw the way things were heading and bought a case. Then I started reloading. Now that I cast my own, I can shoot reduced loads for about $0.09 per round. Full power loads would be closer to $0.30. Still better than the $0.75 to $1.00 for factory ammo.
well as your in Arizona then make a point of being at the SAR gunshow the last weekend of this month and ya will find several folks selling it, the show is at the state fairgrounds in Phoenix and is huge, actually ya can't really see the whole show unless ya run from building to building or the better option...... attend both days,
