Know that after months and months of waiting...

P-PIC.jpg
My local shop had a Duty when I stopped by to drop off the last of my CZ-USA catalogs, and also a few P-07 Duty fliers.

Sillky light SA with a hint of creep in the DA that Is
light years beyond the usual 75B camming.

And it seemed quite compact and thin in my hands.
I can't believe that a double stack 16 shot magazine
fit in a gun so Thin!

The frame would probably chew up my girly hands in no time.
I Would put on a grip sleeve of some sort.

I was delighted with the way it felt pointed..better than a Glock 19,
but still a bit blocky like a Glock.

Nancy liked it, too.

No issues with slide lock,,hard to release the slide, or mags sticking.

I can really see why CZUB and CZ-USA are so excited about this gun!

Again, it is light, compact, points well and has a superb trigger for a decocker
gun. I think that Omega trigger in SA almost made me cry:)

However, the saddest part is that with Christmas coming up and
Nancy's health insurance rates going up!

I'll probably not able able to afford one until Summertime in 2010.

Note: I didn't even notice the Bulge on the frame.I was too busy
enjoying the moment!

I picked one up when my LGS had them one sale for $399 a few months back. Liked how it felt and figured I'd take a chance on it. I had heard that most people were holding off on buying these, waiting for the bugs to be worked out. Guess I got lucky, because mine turned out to be great. I actually like it better than my 75B. Can't make the thing jam no matter how hard I try. I carry it regularly. The only thing I dislike about it is the sharp edges. It can really do a number on your hip if you don't have a quality holster for it (which I still don't!). If I see them under $400 again, I'm picking up a second.

I have many CZs, but the P-07 Duty may be my favorite. I agree with you that the Omega trigger is exceptional, and I thought the P-01 and 75B triggers were fine. Great shooter and I also can't get mine to jam. Like you, I didn't particularly care for the grips, so I put a Hogue Small Black Tool Grip on mine (see http://www.expeditionexchange.com/hogue/ and go down the page a bit). It's only $7 and if you put it in boiling water for about 45 seconds and quickly dry it and install it, the fit is very snug and it works great. I like the small tool grip better on pistols than the standard Hogue Handgun grip, as it fits better. Enjoy your P-07!

I maybe getting the CZ fever, but it is too soon to know. I just purchased a PCR and am now looking for eithe a Kadet kit or a P01.

I have a P07, and it is very accurate. It is a little big for my hand, I have to really get a grip on it, but it is ridiculous w/124gr reloads. Never have had any issues with it yet, close to 1000 rounds. It does have a slight bulge, but I never notice it when shooting.

Ghost,,

The CZickness is upon you!

P-01, SP-01, 85 Combat, Phantom, P-07 Duty.
Then there is the clothing and other gear.

P07 is a very interesting pistol with a lot going for it, I like mine! One advantage is it can be switched from decocker to standard safety by the user in amatter of minutes.

I am not a great shot, others have done better, but I like this well enough,

The trigger guard only looks big, it really is well sized. CZ has a good one here, and just got selected to be the duty sidearm of the Phillipene Islands National Police.

I love my CZ pistols! It would be great to hear a P-01 vs P-07 thread as I love my PO-1 and have the CZ fever. At the $400 price-range, the P-07 looks very tempting.

They do seem to be smaller/more compact in person.

Now that I see that P-07 Duty on top the PCR.
I'm hoping my HN Under Armor shoulder rig will accept the P-07.

Picked up a CZ P-07 Duty

I picked up a P-07 about 3 weeks ago, put about 400 rds threw it and was very impressed with weight, balance a accuracy of the pistol. I have a PPS and M88 for comparison of 9mm platforms and the CZ was better overall . I can see this as another CCW but just a little on large side for day to day carry. I did see what most people are saying about sticky mags but supposedly it's designed that way and can be corrected with a part change if desired. I loved the new Omega trigger system and those Glock like sights worked just fine for me. Being a first time CZ buyer i would have to say so far am very happy going with the P-07 choice.

Nice to hear it!

I hope to wring one out in Jan when the .40s roll into the country, but I'll
choose a NINE.

Probably too late but definitely get the Kadet Kit before getting a P01. It's basically the same as your PCR and doesn't offer anything new, which the Kadet does, and it is sooooo much fun.
