Washington D.C. Deputy Mayor Held up at Gun Point

excerpted from the article,

The man in charge of fixing the District's ailing schools might be more focused this week on another troubled aspect of the city -- public safety -- after he was robbed at gunpoint in broad daylight while walking home from the Metro.

Somehow, I don't think he will change his mind about gun control.

Of course not. This just means that guns aren't banned enough in DC already.

"He was pretty lucky," police Cmdr. Hilton Burton said, noting robberies can end in violence.

Not if you give the thug(s) what he wants... right?

So did the Deputy Mayor wave his finger at the bad guy and say "No no! That gun is illegal. You aren't allowed to have it!"???

Yup, irony at it's best. All we need now is for Bloomberg to experience the same thing in his great city. *rolls eyes*

From reading the article it's obvious that guns aren't the problem. It's teenagers in pink shirts that need to be banned!

Not to wish misfortune (and/or other bad things) on folks, but sometimes, when some certain people get their 'come-uppance', well ya just gotta smile a little..... :D

Yeah...they'll probably give him an armed security team now...more tax dollars down the drain.

I wonder where he was when this happened...was he on his way to buy crack?

Romma, if you think this will open any eyes with Fenty's lads...well, I'm sure it will just result in more anti-rights venom from Fenty and his hoodlums.

I guess the 'children' of his brand of wisdom is to be unarmed when facing a threat to his very life...
I guess the taxpayers will have to pay extra for security for him... that's... fair...
