Why not get the .454 Alaskan?

I had been thinking about that. It is smaller. Weight isn’t to much difference. But then again I’m not really concerned about the weight.

Plus it’s not like I am going to ever have to shoot anything with it over 25 yards anyways. Anything less then 25 yards I can be accurate enough to hit what I am aiming at, even if both me and the target are moving.

Now to find one! Selection right now with covid-19 going on, isn’t the greatest, and prices haven’t gone down any that’s for sure. While I don’t mind paying what’s it is worth. I’m not into overpaying for something because a crisis is going on.

Also gunbroker has a number of used ones in excellent condition.....the good thing about these heavy hitters are that they usually have very few rounds through them when the person decides it is to much gun for them.
