This is one of those odd, sentimental guns a person just had to get fixed and did not care what it cost. He just wanted it back the way his father had it. It's a Mossberg 250KB with a Weaver 330 scope on a Weaver 3/4" mount. It was a wreck, covered in paint, broken firing pin, locked up magazine, completely gunked up action, shot out recoil and hammer spring.
Tore down, sonic tanked, scope lenses cleaned, rust brought under control, stock cleaned and oiled, new springs made, firing pin welded and reshaped/refit.
And it's a shooter.
Oh . . and it's a magazine fed gun that shoots Short, Long and Long Rifle. I actually shot all three and they all worked just fine.
The reticle on the scope did not exactly help in the shooting, but it was good enough I guess.
