with the way we both work dad and i don't get to shoot much together any more but we were both off work today so dad my stepson and i got out and did some shooting
i brought my oylmpic AR-15 stepson had his ruger .22mag lever dad brought a new ruger mini in 6.8spc (i have one also)
i had to zero a new scope on my oylmpic and after 7rds i had it shooting a 3shot group all were touching
dad had to figure out how to adjust the sights on the new mini but after we got that it shot very well(for open sights)
stepson banged away with his 22mag he is getting better and better very proud of him


i guess my message is take your dad,wife,son,mother,daughter out to the range it meens allot more to see my dad and step son shooting well
i had a ball
take your family with you to the range!

Agreed, some of the best bonding time with my brothers and dad has been at the range.

I had my wife out today showing her how to use the toy she bought me for Christmas, a Crimson Trace for my XD40. We had a good time together and that's the point .... but now she scares me. I also sighted in a scope on my Marlin 60 but she had gone inside by then, no point in calling her back out ... I was already embarrassed.
