I have a 717 from maybe 35 yrs ago, still works great, no leak and accurate! I broke a plastics "receiver" end cap when I took it apart to tune the trigger and lube maybe 20 yrs ago, but never bothered to replace it, probably parts not available anymore! I still have the part order form came with the pistol, unbelievable cheap prices! Maybe I should use the order form to order parts and see if they honor the price!

I've been shooting my 747 in the basement pretty much every day since Christmas. They are great pistols! I think that the 747's have a Walther barrel, not sure about 717's.
