The Dale City shows are by far the worst gunshows I've ever been to.
They're EXCEEDINGLY cramped in a small area. The tables are very close together, and when you get a bunch of moron dealers hanging long guns off the ends of the tables, the aisles are, literally in some areas, about 1.5 feet wide. Then they have the audacity to bitch if you bump into the guns.
If you want turkey jerkey, Pokeymon dolls, old money, slot machines, tools, and a bunch of other non-gun related CRAP, it's your show. A number of dealers at this "gun" show have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING even remotely relating to firearms. Because it's a small show, the crush of crap dealers is even more pervasive. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the number of non-gun dealers is as high as 25, or more.
A couple of shows ago I bitched at the guy who manages/runs it, made a very sour comment that they should change the name to "gun & crap" show, or "some guns in a garage sale." Not much of a response.
Add to that that there's no real deals out there at the moment, and you've got a show that can EASILY be missed.
Bealton normally isn't a lot better anymore, but it is better. More dealers. Still tight aisles, but not quite as bad.
The only reason I've got to the last couple Dale City shows is because I've needed reloading supplies, and Mac is normally there with his set up.
