What makes you think you have to replace the trigger bar?

Glock parts are easily replaced. Anyone who can dress themselves in the morning should be able to do so.

It was posted on one of the Glock boards but no one has the answer. Some police agencies are requiring immediate replacement of the 21's trigger bar or the gun can no longer be carried while on duty.

huh?

I'd call glock and see if there's a recall or something before I got all excited about what someone said on a glock board (no offense to those boards of course)

I think Glock may have redesigned their trigger bar without telling anyone. We have had several G22's with excessive peening on the firing pins, leading to failure of the firing pin safey test. It seems that the trigger bar is not raising the firing pin safety plunger far enough. I/we have received a couple of new triggers with a higher trigger bar (the part that depresses/raises the firing pin safety plunger.) I'd give it some range and dry firing time. If you notice peening on your firing pin, or failure of your firing pin safety, I'd definitely say replace it.

There's no G21 trigger bar upgrade. There is a murky copy of an agency memo that sugggests that G21 trigger bars need to be replaced. It was the G36 involved in the G21 upgrade, but I wouldn't depend on an l.e. armorer to know that all Glock .45's aren't alike.

Well,I guess that's good news.I like my 21,but it doesn't get shot as much as my other handguns because there's always "issues" in the back of my mind whether or not the dang thing is going to kaboom on me.:banghead:
