Dan and Wesson

What's the story behind this brand. I looked and they seem to be out of business. But Gun Joker has some good deals on their 44`s. The first 44 I shot was my buddies dad's in high school. That was a long time ago. How do they compare to a Smith?

Dan and Wesson? Perhaps you mean Dan Wesson firearms?

Whats left is owed by CZ. They make the 715 a stainless steel version of the model15(357) and the 1911 models.

I had a Dan Wesson Pistol Pak many years ago. Very nicely made with a great innovative design allowing you to easily change out barrels and grips. Have not seen any of the new production revolvers from CZ but appear to be rather pricey.
