Yeah EWK has them. Was $399.00, and has rails to mount a scope on it.

EWK stuff looks to be the very best bet for additional barrels and shrouds....can't wait for my 2 1/2" but it been 3 weeks + now. Got a message saying the order was received and nothing since. So, while I'm perfectly content to wait until the April ship date I'd caution folks that the EWK route is not for folks who need it "right now!!" or need hand holding via the order process.

The more I shoot my Wife's new Ruger LCR and work up loads for it, the more I'm lusting for a snubbie setup for my DW. The more I shoot autos looking for my Soul Mate CCW piece, the more I keep picking up and shooting my revolvers from the Old Days.

There is something very comforting about 6 rounds of full house, 158 gr. .357 Mag SJHP.

From what I understand, Eric runs EWK as a hobby/side business. Until recently, you just had to wait until he decided to do a run of whatever and put it on the website. If you didn't check every few days, you were probably going to miss what you were waiting on. Now he's finally doing made to order runs of stuff which is awesome.

Dan Wesson will make you a special order barrel shroud, but you are going to wait just as long, and pay twice as much.

Roger that. I appreciate the option of even having a brand new Dan Wesson barrel and shroud and I'm perfectly willing to wait a few months. I used to make knives (custom one off stuff) for a living and it takes as long as it takes.

Still...I'm drooling so bad I can't help being antsy about it.

Oh, for sure! I'm going to order a 4" .44 barrel after I recover from making it a merry Christmas for everybody in my list, and I'm already impatient about it.
