I've got 3 problems with this gun that I need some help with.
First, there are a couple spots on the gun where rust has started. This gun is not mine, so it was not taken care of the way I would have taken care of it. I cleaned the gun and some of the rust came off. There are still some spots with rust. I was told to use a silicone cloth. What else will take off the rust?
--------And on the cleaning of a revolver, I was told just to spray gun cleaner into the action to clean the crap out. Then put 2-3 drops of oil infront of the hammer then cycle the gun a couple times. Is this the correct way?
Second, where would I find a "latch retaining screw" for a gun like this? Last time I shot it we found that the screw had backed out and we had lost it. Do I just go to a gunsmith? Or do I have to call CZ?
Third, when shooting this gun it misses one round. When dry firing it there is one round it misses all the time. It's like the cyl doesn't rotate enough to latch again in that one particular round. What could be causing this?
I'm a newb in revolvers, expecially double action. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a million!!!!!!!
