Dan Wesson Problem

I have two hundred rounds through my Dan Wesson RZ 45 Heritage and it has developed a problem. It came with two magazines and one of the magazines drops out when I pull the trigger sometimes. The gun will not fire and the magazine drops out. There have been no jams with the gun whatsoever. When using the other magazine it runs flawlessly? Obviously I think it is the magazine but when looking at them side by side they look the same. What gives?

I don't know how many people could really help you out with this problem but if I were you I'd send the magazine back to whatever manufacturer they came from and have them send you a new one.

Look at it this way: if the two mags were identical, you would get the same results from them when you used them in your pistol.

Hate to hear that. Mine's been flawless. FWIW, the mags are Checkmate, and usually top notch.

Email CS. Sounds like a bad mag, but they will tell you how to handle it.
