Bill,I'm living in South America(Argentina),I found the pic in the site of a local gunshop...They ask for 700 Us$,but everything imported is more expensive here,any used S & W or Colt will be around 500 dollars a new Glock will cost 800,so it's not that expensive in comparison.
I'm not that familiar with guns and didn't even know about a gun like this,but sounds like fun and everybody here on the site seems to like it so far (thanks to all),I checked with the gunshop and they still have it so I'll go next week to see it (I think the pic I posted is from the actual gun),and might convince them to try it at the range.

Around $700 USD is what you'll see the DW .357 Pistol Pac go for online here in the US. I keep an eye out for a bargain and haven't yet seen a complete set go for less than $600. The normal range can exceed $900 for SS and higher for the .44 magnum.
I've owned a SS 15-2 for about 13 years. It came with the 6" barrel and I ordered a 4" full lug barrel from CZ/DW last year. I use the DW in IDPA. I would recommend a DW revolver to anyone as a great value. The action will never be quite as smooth as a S&W or Colt Python, but the gun will never disapoint. As a plus for many, you can shoot all the full power .357 magnum loads through the 15-2 without concerns about stressing the gun.
The nice thing is that parts are available from CZ/DW. Also, I've upgraded by 15-2 with a Wolff spring kit to improve the DA trigger pull.
I'd say if you have the money and want a .357 magnum revolver, jump on it.

I have a pistol pak. 2-,4-,6-,8-inch barrels with full lug vented shrouds. Great gun. I use the 4-inch tube 99.9 percent of the time. It is good out to 100 yard on a 12-inch gong without any problem at all. The 6-inch is more accurate but a little front heavy for my taste so I rarely screw it on. The 8-inch and 2-inch are kind of silly in my opinion but I still have them.
Madmattmd,you are right ,thr price seems right,I wonder though as I was warned here about Palmer era as I'm not sure the gun is one of those,should I avoid if it's a palmer one or they are not that bad ?
Anything I should be specially carefull about when checking the gun out ?

My DW is a “Monson” production gun. I have heard that there may be quality issues with DW revolvers made at other locations/periods. I have no personal knowledge of this and don’t rely on info I can’t confirm. You can determine the manufacturing location by looking at the info stamped on the right side of the frame.
As an example, many state that AMT 1911 pistols are junk, some production facilities/periods more than others. I have several that were manufactured in Covina, California and have experienced probably no more quality/function issues than with other lower cost 1911’s. I always temper my assimilation of info and try to ensure the person has “personal” knowledge of a gun (this means they actually OWNED one and not what they heard, blah, blah, blah). I would like to perpetuate the “AMT guns are junk” rumors so that I can continue to pick up quality 1911’s very cheaply.
With the DW Pistol Pac, I would inspect it as I would any other revolver. If it looks good, I’d say buy it. CZ bought DW over a year ago and offer very high quality customer service based upon my personal experience. I understand that DW offers a complete line of replacement parts as well as service (this may not be an option for you since you’re not in the US). The ability to “customize” your own revolver for specific uses is very attractive. Also, if you are a fan of full power magnum ammo, you will never have to worry about stress issues. The DW is built to withstand all types of ammo and is quite sturdy.

I own a stainless 357 Max & blued 44 Mag with "the barrels" ( put the barrels in storage ), as the 6" stainless barrel is what I want on the Max, & the factory compensated 44 barrels were of poor design, if they were not diassembled & internally cleaned regularly, the barrel & shroud carboned up, & could not be sperated... the 44 one now wears a snubbie barrel, & both guns, custom single chamber compensator barrel retaining nuts... love both guns, but wish the 44 was stainless... might have to pony up for one, now that CZ owns them...

I've owned my 15-2 for nearly thirty years now. For about five of them it was my only CF handgun. God Alone knows how many rounds have been through it; I long ago lost count. It must be in excess of 7K just in cast bullet reloads.
The versatility offerred by the unique barrel switching capability made it ideal for my financial and lifestyle situation at the time. I could have a CCW, daily carry holster gun on my farm chores, and a hunting revolver without having to invest in three different revolvers.
It has not broken, nothing has worn out, and it's still the most accurate .357 revolver I own.
