Several months ago I bought 480 rounds of Danish 30-06 in 8-rd M1 clips from J&G Sales ($11.99/bandoleer) but actually $0.29/rd when S&H are included. It is great! My FN49 really liked it, and I tried it with my new, 1945-vintage M1 Garand, and couldn't believe how accurate it was. I still have some left.
The head stamp of this ammo is AMA 81.
Last week I bought 624 rounds also of Danish 30-06, also in 8-rd M1 clips, but from AmmoMan (they had the best deal I could find now) 13 bandoleers @$15/each, including S&H ($195/624=) $0.31/rd. I haven't tried it yet, but it looks as good as what I had before.
