Daughter got her first deer....

    She used my lever action .357, with a red dot sight. We are both pretty stoked.
    Ammo was 158gr SWC handloads. Dropped her in one shot .

    Congrats to both of you. It doesn't get any better than a kids first deer, espically if that kid is yours. Its pretty special to be there when anybody's kid gets there first deer. Enjoy it and many more.
