Davis Ind. derringer question?

Hope this forum is ok for this question. I have a Davis Industries .38 derringer. I think they ae out of business. Can this thing shoot 9mm ammo?

I assume by .38 you mean .38 Special. No, you cannot fire 9mm out of it. As with any gun, you should only fire ammo the gun is marked for. Given you could get a 9mm round to fire in it, it would very likely do horrific damage to both the gun, and your hand.
 
thanks for the help. When I saw the Ruger .38/9mm revolver I started wondering about the derringer.
