Hi everyone,
Remember - set the clocks back 1 hour tonight, or you'll be early to church/brunch/the range.

When you're replacing those smoke detector batteries, think about replacing the batteries in your safes, red dots, and flashlights too. Nothing worse than needing to get a gun out of a safe quickly and finding out the battery is dead. I checked my emergency flashlights (scattered around the home) and found that the batteries had corroded in a few mag-lights.

Thanks thoe I wish they would pick one or the other and stick with it. I hate geting use to being able to tell time by were the sun is then changeing time.

I like the story about the old Indian told about DST.

"Only a white man would cut off a strip from the top of a blanket, sew it on the bottom, and claim he made it longer."

Good idea. I pull out my guns usually at least once a month and check them, oil them, and replace batteries as needed.

Last week there were shots in the alley behind my house, so as a precaution I grabbed my shotgun, which has an optical sight. Murphy's law kicked in, and of course the batteries were dead (they were fine about a month ago). Thankfully I also have a bead sight and a cowitnessed flashlight, but it is frustrating to say the least.
