I will be buying the final version when it is available as an ebook at Baen.

If you just can't wait, you can spend an extra $9 and get a semi-edited version.

BTW, Baen ebooks are a bargain. Most new titles are $6. No copy protection nonsense either.

There is a lot of good military SF there if you like that kind of thing, along with both MHs.

Every ebook has sample chapters. I read the sample chapters for Dead 6. I liked it.
 
Just did the webscription download (October 2011 collection). Looking forward to reading it...

Correia, I have pre-ordered the book on Amazon (as well as the next Grimnoir book). Keep up the excellent work.
 
I bought the book the other day from the baen website. $6 ebook - no DRM.

I spent my lunch hours for a couple days and a couple hours last night reading it.

I got the first review in. Sorry I had to nitpick the book just a little.
 
I'm about halfway through Dead Six, reading it using the Kindle App on my iPad. It's really good, definitely one of the best thrillers I've read.
 
Today is the official release date. It should be in stores everywhere.
 
I can appreciate that.

I'm just lazy and still getting used to even using the Kindle my son gave me. (I like being able to locate & download a LOT of out-of-print sci-fi in Kindle format so far. :) )

Amazon makes it simple to order & load using either my computer or Kindle, though.

If they don't make it available by next month, I'll just buy the paperback. ;)
 
fastbolt, if you want to get a bunch of classic sci-fi for free, learn to use the Baen page. They have what's called the Free Library, and there is a TON of good classics on there for nothing. It really is worth it.
 
I'll order one when I have a chance probably Tuesday. Will be interested to see how much it has changed from the original one that was posted here. I like to order through local bookstores when I can.
Also is there going to be another Monster Hunter book? loved the last one.
 
Yep. Monster Hunter Legion will be out in September 2012.

Also, there will be a hardcover omnibus edition released of the first three.
 
Great book! Just finished it. Warning: the Baen book could use more editing for removal of typographical errors. Errors seem to be more frequent towards the end of the book (just a warning for hyper sensitive people like myself).

Correia, I'm going to check WalMart as soon as I'm at one to see if they have this. If not I'll download it. I noticed last week that your Monster Hunter book is still on their rack so maybe they will have this and also the next MH when it comes out. The local Hasting's is also carrying your stuff.

You are right about the free stuff at Baen. I have downloaded a lot of those also. Did I read a post about you colloborating with John Ringo on a book sometime ago or am I just dreaming? CRS you know.
 
Yeah, me and John are collaborating on a post-apocolyptic series. :)
