decent rear sight for mini -14

I have a really nice older Ruger Mini-14,even has the wooden handguard.However,the rear sight leaves a LOT to be desired.The adjustments are both coarse,and crude.I've replaced the whole thing with a scope mount in disgust,but I'm leaning towards putting a decent peep on instead.Anyone know where a good quality,not TOO expensive rear sight can be found?
