And I don't think I'd want to bet my life and freedom on your "slingshot" theory.

It's not a theory. It's physics. And common sense dictates that two holes bleed out faster than one. The exit hole is typically much larger than the entrance, and you should not limit our shooting scenario to lung shots.

You are not criminally liable for a round that overpenetrates and injures an unintended victim. You are far more likely to injure such a person with a stray shot.

R.W Dale, did you bother to check Stephen Camp's website?

http://www.hipowersandhandguns.com/

That might be a good place to start. He has numerous articles with different loads with broadside shots including some javelina hunting. You can do your own legwork from here. I've already read them. I've said my piece and people can make their own decisions and educate themselves. I don't know why you think I have to convince you personally but I feel no obligation or desire to do so.

I think ill get some 147gr XTP's loaded up and try those out, as well as some of the magtech and S&B softpoints in some back yard balistic testing.
thanks folks!

Anybody know how significant the penetration difference between the 147gr HST's and the Tactical Bonded 135gr +P rounds is?
