As far as sarcasm machines. When Bill Clinton came on TV after the loss of congress due to his ramming the AWB thru congress. I do not remember the exact quote but to paraphase it. The Democrats lost congress because of the NRA. Not GOA not NMLRA, the NRA. Thats the day I joined. The anti's are taking the NRA seriously.

tmpick: Although I am no copright legal expert, I believe the publishing the article text with a citation to the source relieves one of infringement claims, unless one is doing it for profit.

In this thread, the source is provided in the opening post--albeit a clumsy citation, but present nonetheless.

IMO, your concern is undue.

The DMCA is a wonderful thing. Not to sidetrack this thread, but I guarantee that's why the site's policy is worded as it is in the THR primer on courtesy. You can argue a paragraph or two as fair use, but not a straight copy-and-paste of the whole article.

I like the site, and I'd surely hate for them to be targeted under the DMCA. I'm sure that a copyright attorney would know more about it than me, though. I'm only aware of it because I used to moderate on a fairly large site that got in trouble for the same thing.
