To possess or purchase a gun you must get a permit and answer "No" to the appropriate questions
Here is the application:

Here is Question 28:

(28) Are you presently, or have you ever been a member of any organization . . . which seeks to deny others their rights under the Constitution of either the United States or the State of New Jersey?

Democrats in New Jersey seek to deny individual rights under the Second Amendment. Thus, Democrats are prohibited from owning or purchasing guns in New Jersey.

I’ll get my LOL in before the thread lock.

But seriously, using that reasoning I could make a solid case that members of either major party could be prohibited for denying rights.

This.

I’m no Democrat, but the OP might want to look in the mirror before he accuses the other side of having a monopoly on a denial of rights. Both major parties are guilty of that. So unless the OP can honestly claim he’s not aligned with either major party, he’s a complete hypocrite.

But this thread probably will get locked soon, and rightly so.

This is more a op-ed snark that is not really a matter of law as it is, and thus not appropriate for the Legal forum. Maybe General. Or maybe not THR at all.

See also H.G. Wells "The New World Order" 1940 for an opinion on the binary party system's destruction of human rights.
Then, George Orwell felt the only thing worse than an adversarial two party system was the one party system.

Yep - anti's would use the "reproductive rights" angle or something else similar.
I feel for New Jersey residents and remind them AZ has plenty of room for liberty minded gun owners, and more climate than just desert. ;)

Seems like common sense to me. And yes, it could work both ways, if one answers "yes" to the question.
Further, if a human did answer yes, they should NOT be sold a firearm.

Notice how quickly it went from firearms to ALL rights? And that the other side does it too? What are we, four?

@bushmaster1313, I like it! Without humor we are just animals. ;)

Even if you were a Democrat (other) who happened to want restrictions on certain guns (cough rocketmedic cough) , couldn't you just mark "no" anyway? Or would you begin to melt. Seems like a dumb question.
