Dems to renew push for "Fairness Doctrine" (Fred Thompson is now a real threat)

The "Fairness Doctrine" is about one thing: solidifying the mind-control that the Left has so brilliantly implemented over the last five decades in America (and not just in media). They want to kill talk radio because it represents the voice of the American people, unedited, fully expressed. The Left hates anything interactive; their view of politics is We Speak, You Listen. Conservative talk radio is a huge political threat to the Left and they know it. When and if it is muzzled, this Republic is dead meat.

Conservative talk radio is interaction based. The listeners are as much a part of the show as the host. The listeners are thinkers. Liberals have been taught to not question authority, to follow instructions, nothing to see here, take your medication and do what you are told. Leftist have groomed a bunch of brain dead sheeple. It's hard to make a radio show out of that.

Leftists I know claim we can't trust "corporate controlled" media. They prefer the "independence" of government funded media (NPR, PBS, etc.). Seriously. I've been told that.

Myself, I don't trust the accuracy of non-interactive media for news and information. I prefer the on air personality to be a moderator of discussion. Stupid statements and assumptions do not go unchallenged if the discussion is 2-way.
