Well, that's one to remember when discussing why it's not unusual to see clustered "hits" located on and around the weapon being used by an "assailant" in training/quals.

A goodly number of folks often ask why there are so many holes in picture targets, clustered around the pictured gun being held by the threat target.

Baltimore Police have something similar in their museum. Back in the 50s or 60s officer shot at the BG. Bullet entered front of a chamber on the BG's DA revolver and locked it up.
