I recently got a .38 Cobra derringer as part of a trade. Swapped it for a Davis .22 mag. I think the 22 mag fits my need for a little gun a little better.

The davis is of better quality I see, than the Cobra. Didn't Cobra buy out Davis? Will my Davis accept Cobra .22 rimfire barrels? I'd like to be able to shoot short and long rifle through it.

The main use will be for it to live in the fender bag of my ATV for use on desert ATV trips, so I'll be getting some CCI snakeshot loads in 22 mag.

Not sure, call the company and ask. Numrich might have them, not sure though.
I know I fixed my FIE Derringer with a hammer selector spring from Cobra Arms, the one's Numrich gave me (for the FIE derringers) were utterly worthless.

I just sent Cobra an email. They're made in Salt Lake City; just a few miles south of me.

Cobra IS the old Davis, but I'm not sure how much interchangeability there is between old & new products.

You can not interchange the rim-fire barrels to the centerfire frame or vice-versa. However, you can interchange their "big-bore" barrels such as the 9mm and .38spl. I'm not sure if the .32's are included in that "big- bore" group. I had a Cobra .38spl at one time, traded it in on a Kel-Tec P-11 for the wife. I wish I had it back! I got to where I could actually hit a round bale of hay at 50yds consistently, and at 20ft I had a 10" group, as many times as I cared to shoot.

But as stated, Cobra is the new Davis/Lorcin.

I had already stated that I traded the the 38 for the 22 mag. I just want to be able to switch over to 22 short and long rifle.
