DeSantis Nemesis Pocket Holster for Ruger LC9

I'm looking for a quality pocket holster for my Ruger LC9. Is the DeSantis Nemesis a good choice? Is printing an issue with this holster?

I like the Nemesis for my CM9 and my Rohrbaugh R9.

For my R9 the holster has become more form-fitting and that equates to a slight amount of printing in the front pocket. A back-pocket holster / wallet holster used in the front pocket or any pocket holster with a full flap would correct that.

The other thing that I've noticed lately is that the Nemesis has loosened up quite a bit and my R9 does not sit in it as snugly as it used to. I think that is from wearing loose shorts and having the gun and holster move around a lot more than it would if I were wearing jeans.

The downside to this is that I have to be careful handling the holster with the gun in it because the gun will easily slip out, I guess the upside is that when I draw from the pocket now the holster stays in the pocket and the gun comes out easily.

I have Nemesis holsters for my Kahr PM9, SIG P238, KelTec P3AT, and S&W Model 638. All of them have held up quite well though the guns and holsters do get rotated on a regular basis.

I have a few of the DeSantis pocket holsters. The holster for the LCP, P3AT, P32 and the like work real well. They wear well and are durable. However, the one for the LC9/PF9 is too big to fit into most pants pockets. In a suit coat, sure but not for pants pockets.

DeSantis Nemesis

I've owned and used Nemesis holsters for several years. The Kel Tec P32; P3AT; Ruger's and Taurus of similar size work wonderfully well in Nemesis holsters of proper size. They are very adaptable to various pocket types and wear like iron. My P32 holsters last about 3 years before they become completely contoured to the shape of the pistol - and loose their fast draw characteristics (The holster will stay with the pistol when drawn requiring deliberate manipulation to free the gun) but remain a GREAT carry pouch which will fit you like a second skin. You will say Hmmm! maybe after 3 years (I mean over 1,000 days) of front pocket carry its time for a new one. So every 3 years budget for $20 bucks and you will regain a one handed pocket draw which is pretty darn amazing even in most Jeans and is very, very fast & comforting in slacks. Because if you learn to clear your strong hand pocket (takes some training) you can produce those little guns in one hell of a Hurry. Its not as good as sex but its close because those gun sizes in the Nemesis Don't Print at all.

When you increase gun size to a Kel Tec P11 or Kahr K9, P9; Or LCP or Shield or similar size it of course takes a larger Nemesis holster which I have found doable and practical for quick carry situations where you want the larger gun but don't have time to saddle up with a IWB, Belt holster or similar. It will bulge (gun is bigger) but not print to get you in CCW trouble. They work for revolvers (j frame size) but I have never worked for a perfect Nemesis revolver fit. Got to do that.

Conclusion is for smaller flat pistols they are among the best, or the best, on the market. Really.

DeSantis; Super-Fly, Stickyholsters.com .....

I purchased a Nemnesis pocket holster in 2004. I used it briefly with my Taurus Ti .357magnum snub. It worked very well.
The firm also has the Super-Fly which is the same style but with a minor change in design.
If I were to buy a new pocket holster Id look at www.stickyholsters.com .
It's made in the USA, low cost & easy to convert from pocket to IWB to ankle.
