I recently purchased a DeSantis Nemesis Pocket holster for my LC9s for pocket carry. It fit the gun well, and carried well in most of my pants.
Here's the problem; the upper edge of the holster rides on the bottom edge of the magazine release. Several times I've removed the gun from my pocket and found the magazine ejected from the gun due to pressure from the seam of the holster edge. As most of you know, the LC9 has magazine safety and this condition renders the gun dangerous for pocket carry with this holster.
Apparently DeSantis has recently changed holsters for this gun to accommodate some new models (this particular holster is supposed to cover the Beretta Nano, XDs, Glock 42 w/ CT LG in addition to the LC9). I looked on YouTube and saw other LC9 Nemesis holsters that didn't ride the magazine release like mine does.
I wrote DeSantis and gave them a chance to respond, but I have not heard back from them. I am retiring my Nemesis from future pocket carry and welcome suggestions for a good, safe holster. I'm posting this so others will can be cautioned that this holster may unexpectedly eject the magazine from the LC9.
