Desparately seeking XD-9 holster........

I've been trying to find a good holster for my XD-9 for some time now.
basically i'm looking for a low profile close fitting type of paddle holster. for some reason i find myself preferring a thumb break as well. (i had some issues with a Fobus paddle holster i had bought for another gun of mine coming out along with the gun during draws so i may be a bit unfairly soured on that type of retention)
chances are i'm going to have to get a holster designed specifically for the XD. some of the "multiple model compatible" holsters from Uncle Mikes and Bianchi that according to thier "size chart" would supposedly accomodate the XD would not fit the gun when i tried them. it almost seems that the XD takedown lever widens the weapon enough in comparision to other pistols so that an XD-specific holster is needed.
but i'm actually having some trouble locating exactly what i want.

i can get that for about 20$ less then MSRP. anyone have any overall opinions on blackhawk holsters in general or on this model in general?

does anyone have any other recommendations??

I hate to say, buy my one experience ordering from the Product Wizard was...well, let's just say I wouldn't expect to order from them a second time.

The temptation is always to get something that you can order and get "right now", and sometimes that's necessary while waiting, but in my experience the custom makers are worth the wait, and often the price is comparable to mass produced holsters. I also started out getting holsters with thumb breaks, but haven't gotten a holster with one for some time.

I know that Bulman makes at least some of his models for the XD, and I have also had Tucker holsters made for the xd. These are nice because of the way they grip the handgun. In fact, I have a "spare" Tucker that's new in the bag I could probably part with if you REALLY need something NOW, as I was about to place an order for another 1911 one anyway, and have several xd holsters, so I could just add one in as a wait isn't a problem. Otherwise you could try a WTB post and see if anyone else has some other model you might prefer that they could or would similarly part with.
