hello all,

for you detonics combat master owners, and fans of hakan's outstanding grips, hakan just sent me a set of grips made from birdseye amboina wood. since hakan is a craftsman, he was able to make the grips without having the gun present, just as he was able to do when he made grips for my star pd. the fit and finish of the grips, as usual, was outstanding. hopefully, i will be able to post some photos, but presently, do not have access to a camera.

Also be aware that the Detonics Company has been resurrected, and the full line of pistols will be returning to the market.

Yes..thanks to Ed for sending me his original Detonics Combat Master grips for the pattern purposes...I got to keep them too :D

This was the only picture I took befofe sending them away...I don't know what was I thinking because I usually take tons of pics before sending the grips away.

They were made from the last piece of my Birdseye Amboinawood and it was just large enough for them..lucky you Ed :)

Here you go folks..they're the ones in the middle ;)

Regards,

Hakan.
