Took a DeSantis Kingston Car Seat holster, removed the velcroed holster from the car seat strap. velcro mounted the holster out of sight on the right interior side of, the admittedly deep, center console of my Honda Ridgeline. Slide the moving part of my console forward and the pistol (XD45C) hangs vertically just as if in a belt holster around my waist. All in all a very convenient way to carry and make sure the gun is with me and accessible at all times when travelling. Of course, I also have my constant companion (Kahr PM9) in my pocket for trips outside the truck.
