No problem Steve, theives are usually lazy, let them know you are serious about a fight, and they'll roll over.:D

Besides, I got the impression the guy had NO IDEA how much trouble he was actually in.;)

Yeah, I don't know why you'd think you might get in trouble for stealing a gun. What a dumas.

Anyway, glad you got the gun back, and three cheers for the small burro!!!

Well, in light of the stolen and recovered gun, I think its time to get myself a tuckable holster. I hate wearing a suit jacket all day, so this is really my only option. Any tips on a good tuckable other than the CTAC? Remember, this is for a SigPro

The C-Tac... oh, wait... anyway, that's what I use. You'll get more input in the accessories forum.

Whats the overall comfort level with the 23 in this holster? Do you like how it feels?

I didnt know you had a 27!

Hey Steve (guyindallas),

I have a Desantis 'Tuck-This' sized for a Sig 220/226 I had bought.
I have never really warmed up to IWB (especially coupled w/ a large gun) and when I called about returning the holster was infromed there would be a 20% restocking fee.
This kinda of torqued me off a bit as this is an 'off-the-shelf' holster (I can understand if it was a custom or build-to-order).

I'll bring it 5-23 if ya like.
Yours for half-price or trade ...?
Think it was about $40.00, I'll have to check later.

I'd rather sell it for less rather than jacking w/ Desantis.
As opposed to Fisk; ordered a tuckable kydex for my Makarov that WAS a made-to-order and they offered a FULL refund if not 100% satisfied.

Who do think will be getting my future business?

It's the most comfortable and stable holster for IWB that I've come across. That's saying something with a gun as wide as a Glock.

I didnt know you had a 27!
I haven't brought it to any of the shoots. I also have quite a few other guns you haven't seen yet. ;)

FWIW I carry my P229 daily in a C-TAC. Very comfortable, but I'm skinny.

If I don't need to tuck, I use a Comp-Tac Undercover, which I hear they are discontinuing.

Regards,
Rabbit.

CZSTEVE:

I will be interested in the holster if it fits my Sig. Care to set something up before the next shoot to see if it will fit? If so, please let me know. I think you have amy email address, or you can contact me on our Yahoo board where my email is listed.

Thanks!

Techbrute:

I am soooo jealous!

I have an idea:

Since many of us carry concealed and have various guns we conceal in various ways with various clothing requirements, and the cost of buying holsters just to see if they work can get real expensive...quick! Why not set a time that we all meet and bring out all of our concealment gear for each other to try out. This way, we can get an idea of what we need without having to buy a certain item as a trial and end of not liking or needing it. Due to the nature of this, we would probably need to have it at someones home or possibly at an indoor range like Winchester where we can capture the entire range again.

This may also be a way for some of the folks that currently do not have a CHL to get some tips before they get started and also check out gear.

What are your thoughts?

For those who don't know, RRTX's mag carrier has also been known as a plumber's smile?

Don't do crack kids.:D

Steve,

So, you're apparently smarter than the average bear (or THR'r).
Great idea.

Sounds like a reason to schedule another shoot at the Shooting Gallery.:D

I'll email in ya second to see if ya want to meet prior to 5-23.
Going to suggest that you take the holster and try it out first, just let me know on Sunday @ Tiger Valley.

Come on now Steve, we are talking about a guy who recently discovered his Sig in a refrigerator.....:neener:

Just kidding Steve:evil:

Hey, now that it's over we can all laugh and learn right?
