It's that time again. Our montly shoot has been planned for the last Sunday in June. The venue is Winchester Shooting Gallery, the site of our first shoot.

During the shoot, we're having a holster show and swap. Everyone has "that box" of holsters that just didn't work out for them. Bring that, and we'll trade around. Also, bring your favorites and show them off. It's an opportunity to see what works for people, and to see what you can get for that holster that didn't work for you. One man's trash and all...

There is a poll posted on our Yahoo group to determine the starting time. Please vote:

I ought to be there, but I have some AM obligations. If it is too early, I will have to forego the smell of burnt powder.

I will bring holsters: good, bad, & fugly.

Don got this whole thing started....It kinda stinks he keeps getting left out we really should do some on Saturdays.
 
We took a poll and decided that 2 per month would be good. One Saturday and one Sunday. Steve took point on this particular shoot, and he only shoots on Sundays. Anyone is welcome (and encouraged) to step forward and plan a Saturday shoot, but so far no one has.

I plan on going to every shoot that is possible, both Saturdays and Sundays. My suggestion is that someone who has an interest in shooting on Saturdays step forward and set up a shoot. I, for one, will be there.

After all, I look forward to any chance to laugh at Alduro's shooting. ;) :D :evil:
 
Anyone up for some range time this saturday? My plans for this weekend got cancelled because of the storms last week. I know Father's day is Sunday and some of you dads might have plans but I figured I'd ask :D
 
I'll have to wait until later this week to commit, but I'll try. I have tenative plans on Saturday, but they might fall through. I also had planned on going to the gun show this weekend. I need to buy some cases of ammo and a few mags for my new (to me) 22/45.
 
hmm where is there a gun show? I always enjoy a good laugh at most of the prices lol. I wouldn't mind picking up a case of this oh so cheap 9mm too :evil:
 
I wouldn't mind going with ya'll to the gun show.

I haven't heard good things about the FW shows, but I can't speak from experience. I probably ought to get over there and check it out for myself.
 
They're okay......lots and lots of cops around there though. I know what you think about that.:D
 
Hey guys...with all fairness to the Sunday shoots. We all agreed that we would be best served with two monthly shoots. I took the reigns and planned the Sunday shoot since I can't make it on Saturdays. I was hoping somebody else would handle getting the Saturday shoot planned. I will continue to help plan the Sunday shoot and will make it a point for it to be the last Sunday of the month. This way, somebody else can plan the Saturday and make it something like the first or second Saturday of the month. This way it breaks it up and hopefully everyone can make it as much as possible and hopefully most people can make it to both shoots. I know Alduro and Thumbtack have a hard time with Sunday, so hopefully they can take charge and get Saturday's up and running. For the die hard guys like Techbrute...see ya at the range!

Thumbtack, wanna carpool to the Sunday shoot this weekend...neighbor? If so, PM or email me...you know where to find me.

Well, I agree with you techbrute!

I just listed them in a quick fashion....that way people can look into the future at all of them without any work

I'm going to close the time poll on the Yahoo group on Wednesday so we can nail it down in time to make plans. Everyone get their vote in.
