Dicks Ammo Sale

If you have a Dick's Sporting Goods close by they have a decent, not great, sale on Remington Gun Club Ammo, $4.98 if you send in the receipt to Remington for the rebate. But for you 16 ga shooters I found a couple of flats of 7 1/2, 1 oz, game loads for$5.68 a box in the same pile. That makes a good dove load in my old L.C. Smith. Tom

I've seen those ripoffs also in Dicks. This is the real thing. About as cheap for 16 ga that I've seen in years. But normally Cabelas and Bass Pro will meet their prices if you can bring in the ad.

Probably until they run out of ammo. The 16 ga flats were mixed in with the 12 gauge and you had to look pretty carefully to find them. I wonder how many guys pick up what they thought was a flat of 12 ga loads for opening day of dove season and got out in the field with the 16s. That would spoil your day.

Around here Dick's advertises a sale and has about 12 boxes of that ammo in inventory.

I remember a couple of years ago, a guy in front of me asked the clerk for 25 flats of Winchester AA's. They were on sale. The clerk came up with about 15 boxes.

I told the store manager. He said that he carries the inventory that Corporate allows.

I quit going to Dicks for ammo.

Picked up a couple cases of 12ga for the winter league $4.68/box after rebate. The Dicks Sporting Goods around here has a bunch of cases #7.5, #8, and #9 (in back you have to ask for it).

I buy the Remington Gun Club Light Target from Dicks. The store I go to has flats of Remington and Wichester AA stacked about 5 feet tall. No shortages here. Unfortunately about a year ago Dicks was selling the Gun Club for only $3.98.
