Did NJ's "Assault Weapons" ban expire today?

I saw this question elsewhere and now I am curious.

This is up near the top:

"CHAPTER EXPIRATION DATE:
Chapter 54, Firearms and Weapons, expires on November 13, 2012."

Might New Jerseyites have a moment of free buying like the rest of us?

I found an old thread on ar15.com, and the same thing happened back in 2007. Apparently, it expired in May 2007 and was renewed in November.

Let's see how long it takes for them to notice and renew it this time. I wonder if anyone was arrested for assault weapon possession during the lapse, and how that might have affected their case.

I did a little more digging, and found on LexisNexis that it has been renewed for two more years.

"CHAPTER EXPIRATION DATE:

In accordance with N.J.S.A. 52:14B-5.1b, Chapter 54, Firearms and Weapons, expires on November 13, 2014. See: 43 N.J.R. 1203(a)."

Looks like the NJSP site just has an out of date PDF.
