Did you have a good or bad gun year?

Good and bad. Good in that I only bought outright two inexpensive handguns - a Keltec PF9 and a Taurus TCP. Traded an SKS and $90 for a S&W 10-5 with a 5" bbl and a Walther P22 and $230 for a Colt Trooper MK III .22lr. I didn't lose any money on the SKS and only lost $20 on the Walther.

Bad in that I didn't sell some of the stuff that I wanted to sell so that I could buy precious metals instead. Bad year to try and sell anything.

And, wow, $17,000 on purchases in a year. I've maybe spent that much in the last 3 1/2 years and I kind of regret that.

Pretty poor year, no guns bought and very little ammo. I think the last time I bought a gun is going on two years ago. :(

I have regrettably come to the conclusion that the gun safe is full enough for the time being but the bank account needs some attention. :banghead:

Bad year. I've been deployed since January, so nothing has been bought since I haven't been home to get it. And it's hard to stock up on ammo when your address is a storage unit. No delivery there.

Next year should be great. Hard to spend money when you're gone, so some reloading gear and a good stock of ammunition is in my future. I think that's a good use of some of the savings.

I guess it's a draw for me...didn't gain any and didn't lose any. I'm leaning towards bad year since I'm still chasing that elusive AK. Just hasn't been in the budget....we'll have to see how the tax man treats me this year. I'm peering through the window drooling, but just can't quite reach in and snag the little bugger hehe.:cuss:

Had a overall decent year. Bought some new toys, after an unfortunate incident of shooting myself in the stomach and having all my toys seized and released a week later it worked itself out.
