Too much coffee, wiggly bipod adapter, crony acting up, me shooting sesion kinda sucked. It was a balmy 50 degrees, and not a cloud in the sky for a change I finally got a chance to shoot my reloads, that I worked up for my Savage 10FP 308, and the only good thing is most of them out shot the Federal Gold Metal Match ammo that my gun usually shoots into 1 hole at 100yrds. I managed a best group of .700" at 100yrds, which was better than the Fed Match ammo did today at .800" The majic load was 43gr Varget, 168gr SMK. Anybody have a Choate stock with the crappy bipod adapter? You cant get the bipod tight with it, and I'm about to order the low profile one that lets the bipod base touch the stock. All my shooting was prone, with a harris bipod, and a bag under the stock. I wanted to shoot at 200yrds, and maybe 300yrds today, but that private range was double pad locked, and I only had a key for one. Had to drive another 20 miles to my 100yrd max range, should have took it as a sign
Not to mention, I forgot all my mags for my .22, that I wanted badly to shoot!
