Is there any difference between .32 H&R and .327 brass besides length? I can't find .32H&R anywhere in stock, so I was contemplating cutting down some .327 mag cases. Even if the brass is thicker on the .327, if I start at 5% below minimum and work my way up I should be alright? This is in a ruger single six, so I know the gun can handle a little extra pressure, but I don't want to push my luck or my fingers.

cutting down 327 brass for 32 H&R

I read a thread somewhere (perhaps over on the cast bullets site) where someone else was investigating this possibility - that is cutting 327 brass to length to sub for 32 H&R - and the starline brass he is using is thicker, tapering towards the mouth of the case. If this is so, it might require thinning via neck turning tool to seat a bullet and not have the chamber squeeze the bullet and not allow proper release. Also, the diminished case capacity would require adjustment of your max or near max loads as less case capacity equals higher pressure.
Just my opinion, but not worth the trouble. Better to get on the list at Starline and get brass meant for your chamber(s).
