Difference in frame strength for older 27 vs. 33?

I'm sure this has been discussed before but I haven't been able to find conclusive evidence. I have a Glock .40 Cal. Model 27 that I bought in 2002 and I was thinking about buying a .357 barrel for it but I wasn't 100% sure that the frames were the same strength between the 27 and 33. Rule of thumb has always been to get the .357 and convert it to .40 but not the other way. I have a model 32 that I bought a model 23 barrel for with no worries but I wasn't sure if the mini glocks frames were all the same strength or not. Thanks, jster804.

All sub-compacts are at least GEN3 making them suitable for .357 conversion.
