Oh thanks, I might have missed it, but when I was looking around pricing the P-32 I didn't see a Gen 1 or 2 designation...

It's been so long since the changes were made, it is only a very remote possibility you could find a new 1st. Gen for sale anymore.
And if it was, they would advertise the fact, and try to sell it at a premium price to a collector.

The only way you are likely to find a 1st. Gen is as a used gun somewhere.

And technically, Kel-Tec never called them 1st Gen or 2nd. Gen. in the first place.
There was no factory model name difference at all.

I just used that to try to explain the difference you ask about.

Yep. Look at the tops of the slides to tell the difference at a glance. The one on the G-1 is a long "gable", or ridge, with a single sight-mark at each end. The newer ones (current-production) have a flat-topped slide with a more-traditional notch rear sight and front sight blade.

Thinking about getting one? They're neat little guns..

I have a early 1st type parkarized version.
It's had several hundreds rounds fired with no issues as long as I load the magazines correctly and I only shoot fmj ammo
Think a collector will give me a million +?? I might sell it if possible then ;)

If so let me know! I would have this one up for sale and want even more since it is a two-tone. :scrutiny:

You're probably joking, but if not: be sure not to ask for MORE for the two-tone frame cover than they can be bought for on the Kel-Tec website... <grin>

The first one I pulled up was this old style P-32 from Bud's
That's just an old stock photo on their website.

Buds is bad about that.

If you order one, you will get the new style gun.
