I was surprised to see this on Digg, but for some reason in Hardware today there is mention of the AK-47's 60th birthday and its inventor's comments regarding such.

there's certainly a mix of opinions. I always find it interesting to see what the general crowd has to say on these topics. It's obvious a lot of them could use some education on the topic - and I say the THR braintrust is up to the task. There are a few real pros on there. I sense there are some "pros" (note the quotes) such as the guy who says he's pro but is against people owning assault rifles....
I searched to see if somebody posted this yet - but nothing came up. Hope it isn't a dupe.
