Take a 2 liter soda bottle and cut it at a 45 degree angle beginning about 1 inche into the body of the bottle. Drill a hole in the bench the size of the bottle mouth (tight fit) at a 45 degree angle about 6 inches past the end of the 600 . Stick the mouth of the soda bottle in the hole. Place akro bin, 5 gallon bucket, etc. beneath the bench (I happened to have a shelf there so the shells only fall 8 inches or so).

Load a shell onto the spindle with left hand, work the handle with the right while picking up another shell with the left. Flick the lever back sharply with the left index finger and the shell will fly off the spindle directly into the bottle, then drop into the bin. Place the new shell onto the spindle and repeat.

Under 2 seconds per round sustained.
 
CKR that's pretty much it - good video, maybe someday I'll learn how to put pics and video up here as my verbal descriptions are terrible.

I have my cases right next to the 600, I find I can cycle it faster that way. Mine seemed to eject too low to clear the edge of my bin reliably, hence the soda bottle funnel dumping into a bin below the bench.
 
Guess I'm missing several things here.
First off, what is a Dillon 600? I have owned a 450 and two 550s, and I know they make a 650.

You talk about hand-feeding the case with the left hand, which would be difficult on my 550. But you say nothing about how you are seating the bullet (which is where my left hand is generally occupied).

Can you elaborate?
 
orionengnr - it's the case swager, not a progressive press. 2000 rounds per hour on a 650 would really be impressive. The confusion comes from using the term "rounds" instead of "cases" in the title.
