I never knew about it until AR-Bossman mentioned it in another thread. Of course I can’t find it available up here in Canada but that doesn’t mean it isn’t I just can’t find it.
So I thought I would try a spacer of some sort and only thing I had were a couple of brass spacers used on the water pump pulley on a Thermo King truck reefer. The two of them measure about 2.25 mm.
Took the two clutch bolts out and put the spacers between the plate and bottom connector that goes over motor shaft.
Tried it on the large pistol plate with 44 magnum and 45 Colt brass and made a huge difference. Then I tried it on the small pistol plate with 357 brass thinking this is going to be great but it made no difference. Ive tried using the large pistol plate for 357 before and it was worse than the small one.
So thought I would try the large one with spacers and it’s at least twice as fast loading 357 cases now.
I don’t think I would want to go much thicker as the plate is a little wobbly and I think cases especially 357 would go under the plate but it sure does make a big difference.

Is not a big secret, they send a washer with them but you do have to read the manual.

Your two 2.25mm washers would give you a .177” rise, the one in the video above is .25” (6.35mm).

It is also machined to become the drive, not just a washer.

Both washers together measure 2.25 mm. I realize the one Armanov sells is a drive not just a washer. What I found with putting just a “washer” is once I tried going more than what I did with 357 cases is the plate would tilt and the case riders around the outside would slip under the edge of the plate at the top of the feeder housing when there were more than just a handful of cases in it.
So would the Armanov driver coupler do the same seeing as it adds a 1/4”? I don’t know.

I’m using 2 washers under the large pistol plate to feed my 6mmBR cases. It works great until I get down to the last 5 or 6 cases

After experimenting with various amounts of the spacers I have found that using two with total thickness of 2.25 mm works the best on the large pistol plate. Going any thicker the plate tilts too much at the top and cases that are riding around the edge of plate will jam under the plate with 357. Using spacers on the small pistol plate didn’t make any difference with 38 special. 9mm has always loaded the fastest with small plate.
